can`t play cd`s on cd-rom

when i click on programs,accessories,entertainment,
everything is gone.what happen to the cd-rom. i can`t play
cd`s anymore...i was deleting some files , i think i deleted
the wrong one...how can i bring the cd-rom back,and play my audio cd`s......................

i don't think you deleted your cdrom. you probably deleted windows media player, volume control, etc. (thats what it sounds like anyway).

go into add/remove programs in the control panel.
click windows setup and highlight accessories and click the details button, now install the stuff you deleted.
