Can SQL Srv 2000 and 2005 live together?

I installed both SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 through Visual Studio 2005. I don't remember in what order. But in 2000 EM all I see is MachineName/SQLEXPRESS. When I try to browse it it says to manage its properties through SQL Server 2005.
 
Looks like you upgrade your SQL 2000 to SQL 2005.

You'll need to run through the SQL 2000 installer again and install as a different named instance (or the default instance).

And yes they can live side by side happly.
