Client machine is a XP Pro machine. I've got two printers on the network I need it to print to. One is a hp inkjet and it prints everything fine to it. The other is a Multifunctional Minolta and it will print test pages and docs from notepad, but I can't get it to print anything if I print from office products using common fonts like Times New roman or Arial. If I print using fonts that are used less often it prints fine.

I've tried removing the fonts it's having problems with and reinstalling, but I get the same problem. If I print a document in word using Times to the inkjet it prints fine.

I've uninstalled the Minolta driver and installed the most current version. I'm at a loss and was wondering what you guys/girls suggest I try next. The client is quite a ways from home, so I'm trying to avoid a trip to replace the pc.

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried contacting Minolta Support and discussing this problem with them?

What is the exact model, name or number, and age, of this printer?

Are there any clues coming from the Event Viewer? Has this printer ever worked? Will it work if setup on another machine?
