Help!!! lol

I have been trying for the past few days to set up a VPN solution for my office. A friend of mine is trying the exact same setup at his office, and we have been going back and forth with no avail.

I have searched these forums pretty extensively, and have observed this problem with other people, but still have not found a solution here either.

I am using the SSH sentinel v.1.3.2 as a software client. I am using a Linksys rv082 (8 port)on my network side.

I have already upgraded to the latest firmware.

I can establish a VPN tunnel fine. I have used both the email authentication w/preshared key and the predefined IP methods to create the tunnel.

The router tells me the VPN tunnel is created, as does the SSH sentinel program. I can ping to other computers on the network, but i am unable to map the network drives.

Any suggestions? help is greatly appreciated!

What error are you getting?

Are you trying to do the share by computer name or by the IP address? Are you resolving names throught the network?

If you are resolving names through the network, or if you are using the IP address for the mapping, then try changing your MTU to 1392 if you haven't already. You'll want to do this on the RV082 and on whatever it is that you're using on the client side (either the computer itself or the router if you're using one).

Good luck
