I have a user running a Windows 2000 machine that can only see and access files in safe mode only. When booting in normals windows it only shows folders. Any ideas? I've removed all start up process is msconfig and it still happens.

Can not view any files,only see folders when accessing windowsexplorer

Put your system disc in and go to command prompt and type sfc/scannow .
Also load in safe mode with networking and run this scan.
