Hi!

I can not listen recorded phone call over LAN when from NICE query I can list recorded mesages of the required period but when giving the command play I can not hear anything.
I tried to save the recording as a wav file and transfered to my computer and there I can listen it without any problem using the same headset.

Version 8.90.02.01.
File version 8.90.2.2

Any help please?

Thank You

the platform is Call Focus 3.

I tried both Microsoft RDP audio driver as well as Realtek AC97 audio but again withour result.
I used to listen correctly the recorded mesages before.

So you're remoting into a workstation/server and trying to replay? This is probably replaying calls on the remote device.

Try installing applications on your local pc and replay.

Hi RoamingKiwi,

thank you for your support.

I have not done any change in my computer, so I don't know what to install.
I used to hear before the recordings via remote desktop to NICE platform and from NICE query I could find any recordings and click above recording and gave PLAY command. I could listen via headset connected in my computer.

did you add the name & ip to the host files from the workstation that you want to make the playback?

I don't recommend using RDP in this way. When you open RDP and it has first window for pc name you want to connect to you should have a more options button. Click on this, go to Local Resources and depending on what OS you are running you need to set it to bring to my computer or Play on this computer or something like that.

Why can you not just install applications locally on your pc? It would be much more safer. I don't believe RDP is certified against 8.9, if you are remoting in to the CLS server with RDP you run the risk of causing the CLS to become unstable if not running as a service.

Just make sure your shortcut for Remote Desktop has the -admin or -console command to prevent any issues. Also ensure you login as the same account that the CLS applications are logged in as.
