Can Microsoft Access generate e-mails?

I want to be able to automatically generate and send e-mails by clicking on a button on my MS Access form. The e-mail will contain certain fields from the database. Is this possible? I am using MS Access 97.

if you have a mapi compliant email then yes just look at sendobject under access help

If you are using Access 2000 and Outlook, you can download and use a module written to send mail using Outlook objects. It is available on my website.
