Is it possible to easily remove Media Center from XP. Cannot locate it in the Add/Remove Windows components, and don't want to reinstall OS again.

As far as I am aware there is no way to uninstall it. The only way to have WinXP without Media Player is to install the European "Windows XP Reduced Media Edition"

I guess you mean remove the components of Media Center so the OS becomes Windows XP Pro?

I don't have Media Center myself but the usual method of removing hidden Windows components is to first open 'C:\Windows\inf\sysoc.inf' in Notepad. (Make a backup of the file first!)

Note that the 'inf' folder is a hidden system folder so, in an Explorer window, you'll need to select 'Folder Options' from the 'Tools' menu then, on the 'View' tab, you need to 'Show hidden files and folders', un-hide extensions for known file types and un-hide protected operating system files in order for you to see the 'inf' folder.

When you have 'sysoc.inf' open in Notepad you'll see entries where the line includes HIDE. Remove HIDE from the lines (Important - don't remove the commas before and after) then save the file and exit Notepad.

Open 'Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs' then select 'Add/Remove Windows Components' on the left-hand side. You will see many more options to remove components of Windows than before editing 'sysoc.inf'.

(This is where you can also un-install Media Player, if this is actually what you wanted.)

Hope this info helps...
