Can I use WinXP Pro' Remote desktop to conect to my PC

I see in IIS for Windows XP PRO there is a remote desktop option
I want to connect to my Home PC (Win XP Pro) to check emails and download files and such. I used to use GotoMyPC.com but I don't want the monthly fee.
I really don't want to use PC Anywhere either.

Or what do I need to do?

Do a search for RealVNC on the forums, and you'll get hits to some other threads, including one that I started.

That being said, I have yet to be able to get it to work through my wireless router.
