can i use CRTDDMF for a SAVF?

hi!

evrytime i want to transfer a file to another machine, i just use CRTDDMF in my CL program. can i also use this for a SAVF that i want to transfer to another machine?

operators in our company usually create a SAVF and then uses FTP to transfer the SAVF to the other machine. is there a way for me to shorten this process? is it possible to transfer the SAVF without using FTP manually?

any help would be appreciated.thanks!

Hi,
You cannot use DDM to transfer a SAVF.
In order to shorten the "manual" process you could eventually automate the FTP process in a CL program.
