I would like to set up an Access database for a retail customer that want's to have the ability to print receipts fairly cheaply. She does not want to use a full 8.5x11" page for the receipt. I suggested that I will look into receipt printers. Does anyone know if there are any fairly inexpensive receipt printers that will work with Access?

You will have to set up any reports in Access to print on the size paper you will be using, but it shouldn't matter what printer you are printing to if it is the default. Jim Lunde

You may need to use the Generic / Text Only printer device for receipt printers that use dot matrix printer codes. The dot matrix codes can be entered on the Fonts tab of the printer Properties. Then, choose that printer for the reports you design, and select the font pitches that you need for your output.
