I have assigned two 2250 consoles their own DN using LD15, LDN0 to LDA0 and LDN1 to LDA1 using their attendant numbers, but when a call comes in to the supposed console, both attendants still ring. How do I stop the ringing if it's not meant for that console?
LDN0 x...x Listed Directory Number 0 basic-1
Up to 4 digits, up to 7 digits with Directory Number
Expansion (DNXP) package 150. Precede with X to
remove an entry.
LDN0 must be defined for ISDN PRI DID service. The
length of LDN0 determines the number of trailing digits
translated as the dialed DN on PRI DID routes.
Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
I don't have my manual available so I'm going on memory, but LDN's are assigned in LD15. I have two LDNs assigned, LDN0 and LDN1. I want LDN0 to work with attendant 0001 and LDN1 to work on Attendant 0002. So, in LD15, LDA0 I assigned Att 0001 and LDA1 I assigned att 0002.
Now the calls go to the appropriate console, but both consoles ring if either of the LDNs are called. So for example: My attendant 2250 will ring, but no call will be present on the console. That's because the call is for the other attendant. Any suggestions?
