Can I send alphanumeric to paging using VB programming?

Can anyone help me in VB programming for sending alphanumeric to paging system?

Someone suggest me using TAP protocol, but I do not have any idea on it.

I use the ATDT for dialing the phone and connect to the center, but how can I send the alphanumric through modem to the center?

Please help me on it, my project pending on this function.

well ,, to be very frank..you should be using VC++ for this..

hmm..but still try using the latest version of MSDN and type the following in search

"Protocols for communication channels in Visual Basic"

that might help..
