Can I Safely Delete Dumps? 1

I have several dump and minidump files that have been hanging around for a while. Is it safe to delete these files?

Yep. They are are just CRASH information. If they have been around a whileand you dont need them then feel free to delete them. Be sure you really dont need them. Has your system crashed lately? If not I think it is safe to say delete them. If so open them up and read them. Please let us (Tek-tips members) know if the solutions we provide are helpful to you. Not only do they help you but they may help others.

Thanks for the info butchrecon. Windows 2000 has been extremely stable...the most stable OS I've ever used. I still have one minor problem but its not critical.
