Hi All,
after a crash on a PC with Win NT, I have to restore some data of a tape.
The tape was written with ARCServer for Windows NT Version 6 and iomega Tape700.
Now I install win2000 on this PC.
Is there a way to restore without ARCServer?
To I have to install Win NT and ARCServer again?
If I have to use ARCServer, can I install ARCServer for Windows NT Version 6 on Win2000?

Never used ARCServer before!

TIA
Ronald Weinrich

You can't restore your data without Arcserve you have to install arcserve again.

Arcserve 6.0 can't be installed on win2000,you have to install it on NT

to restore your data you should use later version of Arcserve start from 2000.

My suggestion if you want just to restore your data and forget Arcserve is to get a trail version of arcserve 9.0 or 11 from CA support site and then do all your restores and uninstall it.
