I recently changed my personal folders password in Outlook 2000 and have misplaced the new password. Without this I cannot look at the mails within my personal folder. Can anyone help!! I need to find out what the new password is if this is possible. Cheers, Spoonerelo.

has a tool. Try the evaluation software which will give you the first two letters which may clue you in to what you changed it to. joegz

Absolutly you can. There is a TON of password cracking software for pst's or you can take the easy route. Microsoft has pst upgrade software that has a bug. It strips the password on the pst file. I can post the URL for the upgrade to you if you'd like. Just let me know.

Many thanks for the info. I'll try the Outlook Key demo and see if my memory is prompted!!!

Once again - Thanks, you may have saved me!!!!
