Is it possible to put code in a layer of my HTML page?

It depends on what you are trying to do.
What are trying to do ?

The client insist on using the IE browser for content and some of the content is .ppt files. they will present this on a plasma screen with a Infared mouse....air mouse. The feature that I'm trying to make work is allowing them to scroll through html links that are in frame 1 that will show slides in frame 2 of browser window. The problem is that their assorted between html pages and .ppt pages. Once powerpoint hits the frame it takes over and won't recognize html code. they don't want me to change the .ppt slide to html.......any other ideas. This technique works when you have a completly new window for all the nav code but i was hoping for an alternative.
