Can I predefine an application set?

We use program neighbourhood to define an application set to connect to our server.

Does anyone know of a way i can pre-define a setup, put it on CD and give it to a user so they can automatically apply it to a home machine?

Grunty,
You probably want to copy the "PN.INI" file from a workstation that already has all the Farms defined and copy it to the remote machine.
