Can I image my hard drive to a DVD?

I've got XP Pro and I was wondering if I could create an image of my hard drive and burn it directly to a DVD?

If not what are my options for creating a backup image of my hard drive?

There is a program called Acronis True Image.
It a awesome program and you can put it on your DVD.
