Hello All,
I am new comer in OLAP and Crystal Analysis. I am using Crystal 8.5.
I have requirement to display/Analyze my cube in this layout :

January February March ..... December
----------------------------------------------------
Sales 2001 150 200 300 400
Sales 2002 450 350 200 500
----------------------------------------------------
Difference 300 150 (100) 100
( in %) 200% 75% (33%) 25%

The question is :
How can I display that difference value above ?
Also, how can the display the difference in % ?

Thanks a lot for your help,
Krist

Hi Krist.
You can do this with the built in 'Variance' as follows.

Right click on Sales 2001 and choose to add a calculated member.
Change the calculation type to 'Variance'
Right click on Sales 2001 and click 'Add to compare field'
Right click on Sales 2002 and click 'Add to target field'
Choose 'Values less than the target are good'
The check box below there lets you calculate absolute value or percentage differences.
Change the name of the calculation in the top right hand corner of the dialog
Click Ok and your calculation should appear.

Hi Rich,
