Can I Dial 1 to voicemail during on hold announcement 1

I want to set up a small call center that will have two people taking calls and they will definity have pleanty of calls waiting for them. I know how to set up a HG with the announcements that play every programmed 45 seconds however they would like to have the option of the caller pressing 1 to leave a voice mail. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this. I am thinking I can do it though a vector but not sure. Please help.

Sure u can do that with a vector. Have it cue to the hunt group and have a step that says to go to audix if "1" is collected.

You could also just put a step in the vector that says:

1)Collect 1 digit after announcement 1234
2)goto step # if digit = #(any number you want selected) (or) route-to number 1234 (vdn) with coverage y if digit = #
