Can Harddrive backup software backup 2 PCs?

I have a Maxtor 1TB external HD with SafetyDrill (backup and imaging, it looks like) and want to create 2 images, 1 for my laptop (60GB) and another for the desktop (300GB). Can both these images be put on the same backup drive?
