can grow/report lines

I would like the vertical lines in my report to grow with the text box if it expands and have no idea if it can be done, and if so, how to do it. Can anyone help?

Yes it can be done and should be automatic. For example, draw a text box on the detail line of your report. Set the CanGrow property "On." Draw a vertical line to the right of the text box extending from the top of the detail line to the bottom. As the text box expands vertically to display the entire record the vertical line to the right will grow to span the heighth of the text box.
