Brief outline:
We are a non-profit organization that has a lot of offices throughout the 3rd World.
One of our afiliate office is running Exchange 2003. They would like to replicate Global Address Information with other affiliates that are still running Exchange 5.5. Diffrent forests. Is it possible for them to add an Exchange 5.5 box into their Exchange 2003 environment to facilitate GAL replication? I am aware of MIIS, but wanted to go with Exchange 5.5 since we have familiarity with it. So with that being said would it be possible to intoduce Exchange 5.5 in a Exchange 2003 environment, or would they either have to scrap the E2K3, setup the Exchange 5.5, introduce E2K3 and then configure directory replication or go with MIIS product?
Thank you in advance for sharing.
