Can CID info be changed to show a different number

Can the caller ID info on 5 lines in a hunt be changed by service provider to show the first line number regardless of which line you used?

Depends on the provider. Some can some can't.

if they cant change providers . I've done that to evan got out of a long term contract because they couldn't

Most providers can, the question is will they? If the CO is a DMS, then the SDNA command is used. I use this all the time for doctors offices who want all lines to only show the main number for incoming calls. Every softswitch I've seen does it as well. Good luck.
