The Startup Folder default location is c:\documents and settings\username\application data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP.

The folder is empty. What goes in it?

Thank you

A shortcut to any program you want to start automatically when you boot your PC.

Actually, that's Windows Startup. BSpangler is referring to Word Startup.

Word Startup is used to place special templates that activate something everytime Word is started. For example, Adobe Distiller will add a template that adds the Acrobat toolbar and macros for creating PDFs; or a Fax utility will add commands, tools and styles for automatically sending faxes from within Word.

When I right click the tables button in Access, then choose link tables, change the "Files of type:" to dBase 5, it allows me to link to my FoxPro tables. Is that what you are doing?
