We are looking for a SPAM software that can be used company wide - the platform we are using is Exchange 5.5 with Outlook 2000 clients. Do you prefer a server based or client based software? Thanks so much!

Its spam or Spam btw, SPAM is trademark of Hormel. So if you want SPAM software, that's a lot of Pink Meat you'd be dealing with.

You may want to look into Spam Assassin or create your own, using many of the available DNSBL lists out there.

We use XWall ( the server side. It uses very few resources and stops spam before it even reaches your exchange server. It takes a bit to properly configure it but once its configured it works great. On our configuration its stopping 98% - 99% of all spam with only about a 0.1% false positive.

Cheers.

I do hope igatto means ANTI-SPAM !

I have used Hexamail Guard a couple of times and found it to be exceptionally easy to install and it seemed to be very effective. Spam coming in was reduced by about 95%.

You might want to have a look at it:-
Hope this is useful.
