Can access anything once VPN is connected with Safenet

Ok, it took me a few days to be able to make a VPN connection into my Netgear FVM318, but now I have another problem.

Once the connection is made, I don't have access to anything. It seems the reason is because the virtual adapter interface doesn't get a gateway address and DNS assigned. Anyone know how to do this? Below is the what I get on the virtual adapter when I do an ipconfig /all. BTW, anyone know how to setup NetBIO over tcp/ip on the Virtual Adapter?

Ok, I can now surf the net and ping things behind the FVM318 but I still need assistance.

The way I am able to get access to the internet is with the "Redundent Gateway" (RG) feature in Safenet. I just set my local internet gateway as my RG and can now get into the web.

I've also turned off the Virtual Adapter so when I do an ipconfig, I don't have a virtual IP in addition to my NIC IP address.

What I now need help is getting the ability to browse the network via network neighborhood. Can anyone tell me what I have to do on the router side or the client side to get this done? I've got Netbios enabled on the router's VPN setting and on my workstation I have Netbios over TCP/IP enabled.
