Can’t send attachment to a recipient using OL2003

I have user with OL2003 when he sends an excel attachment to a certain recipient, the mail arrives without the attachment and no message indicated the attachment is lost.
When we try to send it through OL2000/SP3 it reaches the recipient successfully

Sounds like your Exchange needs the Outlook 2003 patches

the simptoms in those 2 fixes do not occure.
Why sould they be related at all?

Are you running Outlook 2003 with the default security settings? If so, Outlook could be hiding the attachment.

I guess I do - I never touched it.
But note - the sender is OL2003, not the recipient.
The recipient gets the attachment when it is being sent from a differnt PC and OL2000.
