Hi
I have a Proliant 1600 server with three scsi disks. I have installed win 2000 server. In the disk management I can only se one disk, why?

How are the three disks configured? They could be setup to mirror one another(in that case you will only se one drive because the other 2 are now redundent), they could be striped which would have the size of all three combined together to appear as 1 drive.

Thanks for your answer. Well, I´m not sure how they are combined. Can I change this now or do I have to reinstall and configure the disks during the installation?

Install the hp/compaq Array Configuration Utility and have a look at the array config. I'm willing to bet that they are configured as RAID 5! Total up the disk space showing on your 1600 and total up the size of the physical disks. If the first number is about 2/3's of the second it's RAID 5.

Whichever way they are configured, changing it is destructive so a full reinstall would be required.
