can´t create web project

i get this error when trying to create a new web proyect, in
visual studio 2003.

My OS is Windows Server 2003 and IIS is 6.0

http error 404 "folder not found"

i have try to allow permit in the server extensions in the IIS, but that has not solve the problem.

why can i do to fix this ?

i did the thing of the mime types, but it did not solve my problem.

i also have sharepoint 2003 installed in the server. maybe it is causing some conflict ?

404 is file not found, are you sure that is the error.
I have seen aspnet_regiis -i fix a lot of problems. It is worth a try. aspnet_regiis.exe lives in your framework folder.
