Have 2 sites both running IP Office 406v2 units on Version 3.1(65)

Calls over the SCN ring for 15 seconds (default no answer time) and then present BUSY tone

Monitor program shows the calling system looking in the LCR tables for an alternate route. As none found BUSY presented

All the extensions being called have no voicemail or forwarding options set so i would expect the calls to keep ringing ??

Do you definitely have SCN enabled? Or just Short Codes for the xtn numbers pointing to an IP Line (with no SCN)?

If SCN is setup then no Short Codes are required for the actual xtn numbers, just for hunt groups that are on the remote system. Have you got Short Codes for this in LCR?

SCN is enabled in the VOIP line setup

No LCR setup

Something is failing in the SCN connection. So the key question is why is the SCN failing

- ?lack of round trip IP data routing (System A should have an IP Route entry for System B, System B should have an IP Route entry for System A. Can a PC at A ping B, can a PC at B ping A).

- ?error in the IP line routing (trunk at A should spcify B as the gateway, trunk at B should specify A as the gateway.

- ?Available VCM resource in both systems.

There was an issue in 3.1 (I think). When a call to a remote site would not cover to voicemail in a SCN network with central VM.
