We have a CSE1000 (now called CS1000S) Succession 2.0 with i2002 and i2004 phones. Of late, we are sometimes not hearing the person on the other end and vice versa when external parties (connected via COT/ T1 TIES) call.

Can you please help me resolve this?

Thanks

is the problem always from or to the tdm ties or station to station?

Actually, station to station are not affected.

The problem occurs from if someone from the tdm tie calls the station.

Station to station as in i2004 to i2004 or M3904 to i2004. This is a big difference. I would check the status of the vgw channels of the itg line card...

I have narrowed down the problem to exist on one of the T1 ties that is connected to the CSE1000 (CS1000S).

Users on the remote end of the T1 (which uses a D Channel) cannot hear any users (IP and analog) when they call the CS1000S. Users on the CS1000S cannot hear either. However the phone rings and a connection is made (no sound).

However when users on the CS1000S call the remote site on the T1 , both parties can hear the conversation.

Please help

Can anyone help with this? The problem still exists.
