CallPilots quit working

We have 2 sites that have CallPilots and MICS systems that are having problems. The CP's at both sites will intermittently quit working. We started by changing the power supplies but that didnt fix it. We then changed out the CP at the first site and it still intermittently quits. We then moved the DN the CallPilot was connected to and still no luck. We changed the CP at the second site yesterday and its not talking this morning. Is there something wrong with the MICS? Ideas? Thanks.
 
what software version on the mics systems?
 
MICS 30CQE06 CP 30.00.72.22
MICS 30CQG05 CP 31.10.14.22

Marv, I saw that too, but since the other MICS has 6.1 MR I don't have a good guess as to why the CallPilots are going out of service. If a PC running Hyperterminal was connected to the serial port of the CP it might show what the failure is when it goes out.

Are the voicemails attached to a station mod or directly to the 0x32 KSU? Directly to the Ox32 ksu is preferred.
 
Did you swap to 8 volt power supplies? 8 volt replaces t he 9.

Upgrade both to latest build of 3.1

Sounds like the cabinets if all else does not work but I agree Hyper Terminal may tell a story.

We started with the power supplies and then changed the CallPilots and that didnt fix the problem. The Event Log shows one restarted at 3:27am Saturday. We had to restart it this morning to get it to work. Makes me wonder about an electric power problem.

curlycord, you say to upgrade both the the latest build of 3.1, are you talking about the firmware in the callpilot? I have 31.10.31.22 is this what your talking about?

Yes, latest is 31.10.36.22
Upgrading it may or may not clear a glitch....worth a shot.

As for power supplies did you install 8 volt or refurbished 9 volt?
There was issues with the 9 volts and your symptom was one of them.
