Callpilot V 3.0 upgrade process

Hello all!

I was wondering if someone could give me the quick and dirty on what was involved in performing the software upgrade via a laptop on the Callpilot? I've not done one before, but may have a need to do one shortly-

Any problems or things I need to watch for?

you dont 'really' need a laptop - atleast i dont use it anymore

there is a good faq by curlycord in the FAQ tab

I usually watch the upgrade process by connecting my PC to the Call Pilot serial port using Hyperterminal. Not really necessary, but it's easier to see when the upgrade has completed.
