We are experiencing callpilot issues. The desktop messaging system does not always notify you via outlook if you have a voicemail message. Has anyone experienced this problem? Also we have outlook configured to work offline. When a users starts outlook when not connected to the network callpilot takes a very long time trying to look for the server. Is there a way to make callpilot respond quicker?

We also use desktop messaging. I have not seen problems with outlook notification of new messages. I would start with making sure that it is the desktop messaging piece that is not working correctly and not call pilot in general. I believe when you lauch outlook the call pilot client is trying to verify the dn/password on the call pilot server. If it can not find this server it does take minutes to fail. The way you can get around this is to not use remember password. That way when off line you can just hit cancel on the dn/password screen of unified messaging.
