Just wondered if I can pick your brains a second guys...

I'm trying to use the 'MyCallPilot' website on the Callpilot server itself (I did build another one just to check it wasn't the server itself failing) but I'm having trouble authenticating onto my mailbox. When I try login I get "Invalid Credentials. Please check your settings and try again"

I grabbed the settings off both server and PC :

PC =

CallPilot Server (Name or IP Address): <callpilot ip>
SMTP/VPIM Prefix: <blank>
LDAP Fully-Qualified Domain Name: <callpilot ip>
LDAP Server Port Number: 389
LDAP Search Base: dc=nortel,dc=ca

Server =

Callpilot Server : <callpilot ip>
SMTP/VPIM Prefix : <blank>

LDAP Settings
Server FQDN: <callpilot ip>
Search base : dc=nortel,dc=ca
Port Number 389

Any ideas what I'm going wrong ? ?

Many thanks,

Rich

Set your VPIM
say your DID's are 1-207-245-3300 to 3399 and its on mailbox 3300 this is how I set my VPIM

(207 area code) (245 exchange)(3 for DID/Ext range)
Message Network Config:
VPIM 12072453 overlap 1

also make sure
Server FQDN : "server name.domain.com"
Ex. callpilot.staples.com

hope this helps

It's only dialtone-VZ

I think I may have over estimated the simplicity on this one. I assumed that you could login with your voicemail account number and password but from what I gather you have to actually create a user with an email like type account ID and hook the voicemail account into that as an ‘inbox’ for voice items.

Looks like I might have a bit of reading to do on this one...

Cheers

Rich

Has anyone found a solution to the login problem? I get the 'invalid credentials' error on every mailbox even though they have been granted access to use My Callpilot. I also receive 'ESNCode attribute cannot be null' error when configuring the network settings which may be my problem. Thanks!

do you have the esn code block populated? if so it's a pep/ i assume it's a new rls?

Guys,

1st thing to do is check you have the correct amount of licences to use MyCall pilot, I felt a bit silly when I found out that I did have them in the 1st place :-(

Just like Nortel to charge a fee for every little feature in the server you already own.

Best regards,

Rich
