We are looking at upgrading our Call Centre software on all our PBX from CM 2.0 to Cm 3.0. One of our Sites have only CallMaster 3 & 4 and I was wondering if anyone knows a reason why we should upgrade the Site to CallMaster 5?

We will be upgrading to VoIP as well within the next year on these same PBX.

Thanks

Does anyone have a quarter, I need to make a phone call?

I wouldn't - I think you'll lose buttons, plus you'll need new headsets, and then the cost of replacing batteries for them...

The CMIII & IV will work as long as you don't go to a true IP Telephony environment...

My thoughts only.

Thanks,

why not wait until you roll out VoIP and then go IP agent

I can't see any benefit in you going to CM5

AvayaHelp,

1. callmaster 3/4 are supported in cm3.
2. why change something that works without problems? don't "upgrade to voip", use convergence instead. it means, when you need to add something new, do it ip-based but leave old devices as they are.
