Calling a webservice from a stored procedure?

Is it possible to call a Web Service from within a SQL Stored Procedure??

In YUKON yes, I believe you can. However right now (SQL 2K) you will need to have some other component call a webservice and then return data to sqlserver.

I think you have 2 options.
1. use a com object and then sp_oacreate etc...
2. create a c++ type dll and register it as an extended stored proc XP
