Hi - Probably simple this one, but I have an application .exe that I want to call from within another VB program - how do I go about doing this ?

Thanks

Hi,

Use the shell command:
shell "Notepad.exe c:\tmp\test.txt"

or faq222-428 if you want your VB program to wait until the exe is finished.

If you need to pause your program until the program (exe) is finished, check out faq222-428.
