I have a system shared by 2 companies and 1 user wants to call fwd his calls to his cell. He uses line group 1. When I set up his call fwd it always goes out on line group 0. I have set up short codes for him to dial out on line group 1 but can't figure out how to get his phone to forward out on line group 1. Thanks in advance.

User shortcodes are only used for calls dialed from the user
an inbound call diverting off switch will use system short codes
the only way to resolve your problem is to create a system short code that forces the call onto line group 1.
using a 2nd prefix may be an option

SC 8N
TN N
Line group 1
feature Dial

& then divert to 8<mobile>

If this is only an issue for that 1 user, then you could also setup a short code for that specific #. So anyone who dials that number would go out line group 1. I think IPGuru has the right idea though.

I am an IP Office newbie so could you be a bit more specific for me please? I understand the mechanics behind ARS on Legend/ Magix & Definity but the IP Office is still a challenge. Thanks- Eileen
