Hi, I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction, I have been tasked with providing a way for an ipo voicemail pro to provide callers with an option to contact a representitive on call, however they must validate that they are allowed to do this by entering a pin.

ie. caller is requested to enter a pin, if succesfull transfer call to huntgroup.

This can either be just a preset pin which all gnuine callers are informed of, or preferably requested from a database.

Any pointers??

you can do it with a Menu option

e.g

Menu
then create a key press option of say 1234 (or what ever pin you want) and then send that off to the relevane Extn / Huntgroup. An incorrect pin can then loop back to the menu, or a time out sends it back to the start of your AA.

Make sense?

Examine database example

A pin can be entered for any action. Just open up any action and look for....pin.

Pin
Each action can be protected by a PIN number. The PIN number can be the voicemail code of the presumed user. To do this enter a $ symbol. For example, entering $ would force the caller to dial their voicemail code, entering 104$ would force the caller to dial 104 followed by their voicemail code.

Thank you both for the two scenarios, very much appreciated :))
