Caller ID

We are having an caller ID issue. Current setup is SIP trunking, with only one caller id table that is set to outpulse our main number. This had been working fine.

Yesterdy we noticed that not only would some calls present name as unknown and the correct main number, but other test calls actually showed the individuals(ext) name and main number.

example of presented caller ID :

unknown 212-555-1212 LIDB database?

These were calls to the same number from 3 differnt extensions and this is waht showed:

john Smith 212-555-1212
Babe Ruth 212-555-1212
Hank Arron 212-555-1212

Who manages the name? I always thought it was the provider

some providers are allowing customers to override the ss7 table. yours is one ofw the few that i've seen that shows ld 95 entries with the main number displayed..

more common is showing ld 95 data with didn yes..

have you tried naming the clid entry..

is that rdb flagged internal? that or the rcap data should stop names from being sent.
