We have an Option 11C, with multiple M2616 w/ display handsets spread throughout the office. One user with one of these handsets asked if there was a phone available that stores a Caller ID history, unlike these 2616 which only shows the number during the call.

This user's main goal is to be able to see who called him while he was away from his desk, including the calls that did not leave a voice mail.

I really hope this isn't possible, because I'm sure everyone will want it once one person has it.

Thanks,

Hende

The M3900 series phones capture this information. I belive the release of your switch has to be higher than 25.4 or right around there for the phones to work.

Thank you Nortellian.

What should I expect to pay for a M3900 series phone? A quick online sheck showed prices under $200, which seemed low for a new handset.

Also, would you please remind me on how to check my release level?

Thanks,

Hende

at the req: prompt put in iss.
Not sure of the cost. The m3903 can handle 4 lines and the m3904 can handle 12 lines.

No surprise, it looks like we need updated, we're on 23.55. I'll have to check with our vendor and see if it's worth it.

Thank you,

Hende

I'm not 100% what release is needed but your vendor will know.

In LD 20
REQ NEW
TYPE ? you will get a list of possable entries, look to see if 1 of them is 3903 or 3904. If they are listed then you can program them.
