Caller ID Option 11C

Hey all,

I have been asked to do some work for a previous employer on some programming on the Option 11. One of the tasks is they want to add Caller ID function to the switch. Caller ID has never been turned on by the local carrier and not sure the switch is capable without upgrades or not. Lines come in/out on a single PRI the best I can remember. Currently any incoming external calls display "Incoming Call" Software release was 22 when I left and would bet money it is still there. Is there any special hardware or software upgrades/features added, etc to get this up and running?

Thanks for the info. I was afarid of this. But, I almost remember for sure that when the system was originally installed we were asked if we wanted Caller ID. The switch has CPND as all incoming internal calls display names just fine, just not external incoming calls. I may be off base here though, not sure...

Also, diferent subject, wht do most vendors charge hourly for pbx programming? I need an idea on my rate and want to be a little below normal charges....
