I have installed a Sprint T-1 and programmed the LD to go out that route pattern/trunk group. The called party does not get any caller ID info. Where do I program that info or is that a function of the carrier?

Take this with a grain of salt because I have not verified it yet. My local phone service carrier has told me that we can not get caller ID services unless we switch our T1 line to a ISDN/PRI. I thought about doing that but the upfront cost is about 4K. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for your help. It is an ISDN link, incoming and outgoing, also supporting DID's.

try typing CH ISDN PU this page needs to be setup to send ANI. Also look at your trunk page make sure it set up to send name and number. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

Make sure that you have told Sprint to pass the ANI information on the outgoing calls. This is a question that the two providers I have dealt with recently have asked me. Make sure that you have gone into CHA ISDN PUB to setup your DID information to be passed thru correctly(if you would like the DIDs to show up individually). If your T1 is setup as ISDN, make sure that on page 2 you have "Send Calling Number" stroked "Y".

It's hard to say that the T1 must be setup as ISDN in your switch. My T1 with AT&T is setup as "TIE" and my calling information goes out just fine. But I am not an expert on the subject, so this is just my two cents.
