I've got a question regarding Caller-ID. This is in regards to a job I'm working on with a customer. There is a T1 Tie trunk setup between a Definity G3v6 and Merlin Magix 2.0. On the Magix we set the default local and default toll tables route 1 pool as the T1 tie trunk pool and route 2 as their local trunk pool.

Now, when calls go from the Magix to the Definity to be routed, is there a way to send a certain CPN for any calls coming through that particular trunk? So any calls coming from the Magix through the Definity will show a number local to the Magix rather than the Definity?

If the tie trunk is a PRI then you can set CPN under the PRI setup in the Magix which would be delivered to the Definity in the setup message as CPN and should carry forward if the CO on the Definity is set to accept CPN, and it is also PRI.
911 is the only issue, you need one or preferably two local trunks on the Magix configured for 911 service, because the Definity trunk BTN is delivered to emergency services, not CPN, and the v6 does not have ECAMA.
