Caller ID Name & Number Resolution 1

After adding the Caller ID name & number resolution (CNAM) svc to my local PRI's from AT&T, I found that it only works when the incoming caller dials the main BTN and is transferred from there...but when one simply dials a
DID directly, only the number is displayed.

AT&T is claiming that we need to set our equipment to accept the cnam from the different stations.????

I have a Definity G3si 11 and phones are 6408D+, 6416D+, and 2422.

 
I have never seen the system display more than just the number.......I will follow this
 
I had this same problem when I first implemented this with my local Telco SBC (Pacific Bell) in California. Assuming you're running NI2 protocol, look on page two of your trunk group screen, bottom right:

US NI Delayed Calling Name Update? y

Set this field to Y. Fixed my problem instantly.
