Can anyone recommend a call recording system that connects to a Definity G3R that our Security people can toggle on when they receive a call that needs to be recorded? We use to have a dictaphone system, but it is no longer operational.
Almost all call recording packages have "record on demand" capability (Witness and Nice are the two that come immediately to mind). In addition, Intuity Audix comes with a One-Step Recording feature that records the conversation to your VM as a message. Check out thread690-883175.

If it is for security it will be best to use extension side recording and record all the security phones. It will be easier to disregard the calls you don't want than to try and record the calls actively. If cost is not a great issue then use NICE trunkside recording with recording on demand, this is expensive as it requires all the trunks used for outgoing calls to be recorded and a CLS to be installed to handle the CTI events and ROD control.
