I have an IP office 9.1 preferred edition with voice mail pro. Currently we have a mail box set up for call recordings. The customer wants the ability to access and archive call recordings to pc using call library or call recorder or contact center not sure and cant get a clear answer from Jenne. What do I need exactly to achieve logging call recordings on PC and will it work on a windows os?

If you are already running Preferred Edition (Voicemail Pro), then all you need is the Advanced Edition License - which includes the Contact Recorder license (Along with CCR).
We always deploy Voicemail Pro Contact Recorder on the Application Server, simple - easy.
Make sure the Linux machine has a spare HDD, which will be used for storing recordings.

this is 9.1, ergo there is no CCR, nor is there an advanced license for sale (although a pre-existing one will still give you ability to run contactstore.)
Assuming you don't already have an Advanced license on the IPO, you need one of these:
275623 IPO R9 CONTACTSTORE ADI LIC Messaging Recordings Administrator
This will permit you to run either ContactStore (windows server) or ContactRecorder (Linux app server).
As IPOfficeGuru noted, it would be strongly recommended that that you use the Linux app server, spec'd out with an additional HDD to store recordings on. All current and future development of recording software is being done on ContactRecorder... there hasn't been an update to ContactStore for years now.
It's a web page to access the recording database, so the person searching can be running any browser, although IE11 is required to permit install of the verint tolls required to play the recordings in the browser.
